MIRCO GRAENERT CONSULTING INCORPORATED October 2006 – Present
As owner of this company, manufacturing is taken to new heights. Capabilities including a full machine shop, specializing in metal, low volume manufacturing, TIG precision welding and stamping prototyping and development, harnessing many tens of thousands of hours experience in metal stamping, tooling engineering, tooling relocations and assembly equipment build, fine tuning and repair. We have provided our customers with 2D/3D CAD design, machine build, prototyping, precision welding and machining tasks, and advanced Lean Manufacturing products.
MAGNA INTERNATIONAL, Summary of divisions: Cosma, Tesma, Intier October 1989-May 2006
At the time of entering Magna International in 1989, from a strong back ground in the repair and service industry of vending machines with a hobby in electronics, welding and automotive repair, great advances were made. The level of journeyman Tool and Die maker was achieved, then followed by a further advancement to global Magna Corporate Global Technical Support Team and Tooling Engineering. Precision metal manufacturing disciplines spanning light to heavy stamping, where dies were build, prototyped or maintained were mastered. Repair and commissioning of Robotic MIG and spot weld fixtures, shuttle tables, rotary tables, overhead trolley transfer lines and plant launch assistance was given. Various die types were build or maintained - progressive, blanking, draw, coining and transfer stamping dies with components such as transmission cans, levers, brackets, bumpers, oil pans, support pillars, sectors, cross-members, power window hardware, stainless class-“a” panels, hydro-form frame rails, heavy stamping and robotic assembly equipment. Mercedes fixtures and Audi seating and flex tube assembly machines and components were repaired then sourced. Guidance was given for the component build and replacement as well as complete new build of a metal tube welding production line.
